Here is the teacher guide, student handouts, and resource list for my session at the North Michigan District Lighthouse training from spring of 2007. This session dealt with creating an atmosphere within your church where non-christians would feel like they had a chance to belong.

The Core
This is the membership process from start to finish for us at FWC. It is set up in five segments. CORE 1 is an introduction to church membership locally at FWC. CORE 2 is an introduction to some of the disciplines of the Christian faith. CORE 3 is an introduction to your SHAPE (taken from Saddleback Church) and to ministry within the Church. CORE 4 is an introduction to your personal mission in this world. CORE 5 is the final class in this series, and is a step into membership with the Wesleyan Church.

You can download the whole book HERE. (It is about 100 pages, so please don't print it blindly.) This book has been a work in process since 2003 and is constantly changing. It is being tailored specifically for our Church Family here in Fremont. With that in mind, use what you can, and offer your suggestions.
